World Expeditions has been pioneering adventure travel to the Himalaya for more than 30 years. Hear about the magic of this remote pristine wilderness and the unique cultures and festivals of Nepal & Bhutan.

Our treks offer a great opportunity to leave Nepal’s tourist trails and venture into the deep forests and roam the high alpine passes. Travel to the base of the sacred, fluted peak of Machapuchare. Go into the Annapurnas, beyond the tea house trails and trek through traditional Hindu villages where we are assured of a warm welcome. In Chitwan National Parkwe undertake a wildlife safari in search of rhino and the Bengal tiger. Take the trekkers pilgrimage to Everest Base Camp using our comfortable new permanent campsites with above ground bedding, head-high tents, western style toilets and an eco-friendly dining room! The Gokyo Lakes trek is a more tranquil journey through the Sherpa heartland that affords ample time for acclimatisation with opportunities to savour the mountain panoramas.

This evening will also inform you about tranquil Bhutan. In this serene kingdom we explore the cultural heritage and we follow trails that lead high above the Paro and Thimphu valleys to gain unrivalled views of the Himalayan peaks that define the borderlands of Bhutan and Tibet.

Africa is home to some of the great national parks of the world. Teeming with wildlife, magnificent landscapes and diverse culture, experience all that Africa has to offer with World Expeditions.

Interact with Masai people in Tanzania, climb Kilimanjaro, relax on the beaches of Zanzibar, go on a walking safari in Botswana or visit Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, South Africa, Uganda and more. Africa is considered by anthropologists as the birthplace of humanity, where mankind evolved and progressed.

Throughout the Great Rift Valley fossil traces show how humanity adapted to the diversity of opportunities in the widespread savannas. This diversity is possibly why Africa retains such a primal attraction to travelers – especially to those looking for adventure.
